Who we are
Monarch Trade Limited is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England, company number 16287890, VAT number GB 489670918. Our registered office address is shown in the footer of this site.

What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form:
- Your name and email address — both required, because we cannot reply without them.
- Company name and phone number — optional.
- Reason for contact and your enquiry — what you are trying to make or the problem you are trying to solve.
If you use the production-line board before enquiring, the sector and the stages you picked are written into the enquiry message so we can see what you were looking at. You can edit or delete that text before sending.
Why we use it, and on what basis
To reply to your enquiry, to specify equipment for you, and — if it goes that way — to quote, supply, install and support it.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us about our products, and replying is the obvious thing to expect. Where your enquiry leads towards a purchase, we also rely on steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we do not sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
Who else handles it
This site is hosted by Netlify, and enquiry form submissions are processed and stored on Netlify's platform on our behalf. They act as our processor and do not use your enquiry for their own purposes. Netlify may store and process data outside the UK, protected by the safeguards in their data processing agreement.
If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp instead, those messages sit with the relevant provider in the ordinary way.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third party. There is no tracking to consent to, which is why you are not being asked to.
The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so visiting the page does not reveal your visit to anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept until we delete them, and we review what is held once a year and clear what is no longer needed. We would rather state that plainly than publish a deletion schedule we do not run.
If you want your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of what we hold about you;
- correct anything wrong;
- delete it;
- restrict what we do with it, or object to us using it;
- send it to you or another provider in a portable form.

Complaints
If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office — ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle enquiries, we will update this page and the date at the top.
